Mod-Block-DDR. Obstacles to Modernization in the Economy and Science of the GDR
This exhibition was created as part of the BMBF-funded research network ‘Mod-Block-DDR’ - Modernisation Blockades in the Economy and Science of the GDR. Emergence and Consequences in Comparison within Germany and in Comparison with Neighbouring Countries in East Central Europe (funding code 01UJ1806), which runs from 2018 to 2025.
The presented panels offer a vivid insight into the results of the research project on socialist modernisation in the GDR and the People's Republic of Poland in concise, comic-like illustrations.
